Product Description:
Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is an organic compound, microsoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents, and can form a common boiling matter with ethanol. High octane value and low volatility. Storage stability, not easy to produce peroxides. Produced by catalytic etherification of methanol and carbon four fraction containing isobutene. As a high octane gasoline octane component, used to improve the gasoline octane value.

Storage:
Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Stay away from the fire and heat sources. The library temperature should not exceed 30℃. Keep the container sealed. Should be stored separately from the oxidant, avoid mixed storage. Explosion-proof-type lighting and ventilation facilities are adopted. No use of mechanical equipment and tools prone to spark. The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable shelter materials.
